The Beach House with its expansive beach front Patio has fulfilled many a dream for a Beach Holiday right on the Beach in a Private House not in a hotel...and it is the perfect site for a combined Family Vacation.

There is a very large Patio furnished with Sun Loungers for tanning, relaxing, enjoying a cool drink, Tables and Chairs for dining outside on the Beach while watching sunsets, the waves and dolphins jumping into the air, watching Sail boats in the distance ……. a B-B-Q for grilling.

The fully equipped kitchen offers full size appliances; Refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave and dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, utensils, flatware, glasses, dishes.. Separate Laundry room with full size washer and drier. The

Master bedroom has a QUEEN sized bed and ensuite Bathroom with Tub and Shower, hair drier, television, bedside table, lamps.

Second Bedroom: Queen size Bed, Table, Lamps, Dresser.

The Third bedroom spaciously accommodates 3 Single Beds, Dressing Table, Nite stands, Lamps, Full size Closet.
The large 2nd Bathroom with tub and shower is accessible from the Foyer. The living room is equipped with 2 Large Leather Sofas, Leather Chair, tables, Lamps, Television, stereo, DVd Player for movies.

House is equipped with WIFI Internet, Cable TV, DVD player. Central Air and Heat (A/C)

The Beach House has Expansive views of the Beach and Ocean which are 60 feet or so away at the edge of the Patio-watch dolphins jumping into the air, seagulls swooping by…… we enjoy Space Shuttle Launches from our Patio!

A 3 minute drive will take you to many wonderful restaurants such as Norwood’s with a World class Wine Cellar, Shell’s Seafood Pasta-great casual pasta and seafood dining, the Outback Steak House-with great steaks, ribs, burgers. The star attraction in New Smyrna Beach is its 13 mile stretch of beautiful white sandy beaches with an additional 24 miles of pristine coastline at Canaveral Seashore Park. Sunbathing, swimming, surfing, bicycling, strolling or doing nothing at all is the choice of most visitors.

The beach is well known to surfers - offering some of the finest wave action on the Eastern Seaboard. Treasure hunters will find it an excellent choice in search of rare and ship wreck coins and jewelry. Anglers say it is the place for some of the best surf fishing in Florida. The average temperature of 74°F allows for year-round sunbathing, swimming, surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing and As one of America’s top cities for the arts, New Smyrna Beach is home to several shows and theaters featuring visual and performing arts, various exotic art shows and stunning works by local Floridians.

Originally preserved and recently restored turn-of-the-century buildings line the streets of New Smyrna Beach. The shopping districts of Flagler Avenue and Canal Street are lined with majestic palm trees, brick sidewalks and a brand new beach ramp and boardwalk. It should be no surprise that the second oldest city in the state of Florida is home to seven antique shopping pavilions.

"Turtle Watch" Programs
Just South of New Smyrna Beach, Canaveral National Seashore Park serves as a refuge for several endangered and protected species of Florida wildlife. During the summer months, Canaveral National Seashore Park serves as a nesting ground for giant loggerhead sea turtles. Park rangers offer "Turtle Watch" programs, giving visitors an opportunity to learn about sea turtles and the role the park plays in their conservation.

The Volusia beaches are home to the loggerhead sea turtles threatened with extinction they are protected by state and federal laws. From May 1 through October 31, Volusia beaches host these magnificent animals which emerge from the surf at night to lay their eggs in nests dug into the dry sand, then return to the sea. Two months later, about a hundred baby turtles or hatchlings emerge from each of these nests and crawl to the ocean. This amazing cycle of Mother Nature is thousands of years old.

Volusia County has taken several steps to protect these gentle creatures. Beach driving and parking is regulated. Vehicles are not allowed west (landward) of the dune conservation zone where sea turtle nests are most common. Night driving and lighting from beachfront properties is restricted because the mother turtles and tiny hatchlings are confused by bright lights-they will walk towards the lights instead of towards the sea (lit by the moon).

Fishing is a fun way to reel in a good time, whether you surf fish in New Smyrna Beach, THE REDFISH CAPITAL of the WORLD, or angling on the pristine Indian River in Edgewater or on the Halifax River in Port Orange.

Boat rentals, charters and expert guide services make fishing easy, and these resources are almost as plentiful as the fish themselves. Rental or chartered boats are available for full or partial-day tours, and most guarantee a catch of the day. Local tournaments like FishStock, held every Memorial Day attract anglers worldwide.

Restaurants located on the bank of the lagoon, locals enjoy fresh seafood and live music while overlooking one of the most diverse estuaries in the United States.

Golf
Few places can boast the golf-friendly weather and variety of courses that New Smyrna Beach visitors enjoy. The warm climate makes playing golf fun year round, and New Smyrna courses all feature from 9 to 27 challenging holes. A day on New Smyrna Beach's links is an event to remember.

Guests are welcome at New Smyrna Beach's public facilities. Detwilder Park offers five hard-surface courts, and Pettis Park offers two hard courts. At the Racquet Tennis Center courts you will find six clay courts and one hard court. Four of the courts are lighted for night play.
